VeteranNotes is an independent, nongovernmental project focused on life at Veterans Village of San Diego. It documents conditions and shares practical information for people living at the Village and those considering the program.

It also provides background on the recent troubling history of Veterans Village, as reflected in public reports, and how those issues may affect day‑to‑day life for people on site, while noting areas where conditions appear to have improved.
